A charming "BEFORE LETTERS" poster, realized by Oge ca. 1895. A little boy is playing with a toy boat made of a shoe and a sail. A little doll is sailing in it, while the boy blows on it to make it move faster, and navigaing it using the shoe laces. This poster is featured in the book "Eugène Ogé Affichiste" (1998) on p. 188. Eugène Ogé (1861-1936) was a French poster artist with a unique and playful style. In 1902. he produced one of the best-known anticlerical images of its period La Lanterne.
