A whimsical poster, realized by Oge in 1919, to advertise "Encres Acme", which is a French ink brand. The young boy is playing with the ink instead of doing his homework, as he uses it to inscribe the brand name. The cat joins the game, while his dad is shouting in the background "Etude" (Study). This poster is featured in the book "Eugène Ogé Affichiste" (1998) on p. 90. Eugène Ogé (1861-1936) was a French poster artist with a unique and playful style. In 1902. he produced one of the best-known anticlerical images of its period La Lanterne. He also made a large number of commercial posters for products. (Wiki)
