Original Vintage French Poster for "Dentifrices du Docteur Peterson" by Oge 1897

More Views

A charming poster, realized by Oge in 1897, to advertise the toothpaste for children brand "Docteur Peterson". A child is depicted here selling the various products by that company. The slogan says: "the toothpastes of Doctor Peterson are the best and the less expansive". It's hard to compete with that!

This poster is featured in the book "Eugène Ogé Affichiste" (1998) on p. 154.

Eugène Ogé (1861-1936) was a French poster artist with a unique and playful style. In 1902. he produced one of the best-known anticlerical images of its period La Lanterne. He also made a large number of commercial posters for products. (Wiki)
