Poster commissioned by the Loterie Nationale (French national lottery) created in 1933 and realized ca. 1960 by Pierre Fix-Masseau (1905-1994), the noted poster designer. This is a drawing with a big prize of 3 millions francs with an emphasis on the mimosa, this shrub indigenous to the Mediterranean basin. Note the simple, yet representative picture of a typical Riviera port.
