Henri Héran The real name of the Symbolist painter and lithographer was Paul Herrmann. Herrmann was born in Munich, but living in Paris decided to adopt a French pseudonym. Héran was a contributor to L´Estampe Moderne. Héran is particularly remembered for his 1907 illustrations to Baudelaire´s Petits Poèmes en Prose. Héran was a close friend of the Nobel Prize-winning writer Paul Heyse. (Idbury Prints)
