A whimsical poster, realized by Oge ca. 1900, to advertise "Pastilles Geroudel", a type of medical pills. As the slogan says, "if you cough, take Pastilles Geroudel". A professional singer is coughing in the middle of a concert, to the great frustration of the pianist. This poster is featured in the book "Eugène Ogé Affichiste" (1998) on p. 202. Eugène Ogé (1861-1936) was a French poster artist with a unique and playful style. In 1902. he produced one of the best-known anticlerical images of its period La Lanterne.
