Original Vintage French 1968 Propaganda Poster "Longue Marche"

More Views

This poster is typical of the series of posters printed in the wake of May 1968 in France. The May 1968 protest refers to a particular period in French history. It was historically significant for being the first wildcat general strike ever, and for bringing the economy of an advanced industrial country to a virtual standstill. “Ahead, with Youth’s Long March !”, as the caption tells us, a veiled reference to Mao’s revolution.
